The Boeing Company is looking for a **Contracts Manager** based out of **Huntsville, Alabama or Berkeley, Missouri.** As the Contracts Manager, you will support business areas within the Ground Base Missile Defense Division (GMD) and Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Business Unit. This critical position is a key member of the GMD leadership team. It's a multifaceted position that collaborates with various internal collaborators and connects primarily with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and other customers supporting Government Contracts. **Position Responsibilities:** + Develops and performs integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives + Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of contract administrators and leads process improvements + Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers (domestic and international), collaborators, peers, partners, and direct reports + Manages, develops, mentors, and motivates employees **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):** + Bachelor's Degree or higher + Willing to travel domestically as needed + 5+ years of experience in drafting, negotiating, and administering contracts in programs with multiple customers and multiple contract types, such as: general terms agreements, assignment agreements, nondisclosure agreements, purchase, and sale agreements + 5+ years of experience leading or managing proposal development and negotiating government contracts **Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):** + 5+ years of experience directly managing a project, team, or organization **Drug Free Workplace:** Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace (DFW) where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies. **Pay & Benefits:** At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
