Technical Writer for Financial Technology (Linux, remote, part-time) 

Your role will include writing:

• Developer’s guide for APIs
• Operating guides for integration teams
• User guides for the application

Desired Skills & Experience:

• At least 3+ years of experience as a technical writer in the software domain
• Experience with writing specs / API
• Experience with documenting code libraries (less GUI)
• Experience with communicating with software teams and identifying items -requiring documentation
• Experience in QA and release management
• Perfect English
• Strong analytical skills, critical thinking

Advantage:

• Financial knowledge, specifically Forex, fwds, ndfs etc.
• Experience with Google Docs
• Basic knowledge of Linux environment

Terms of cooperation:

• Part-time (probably by hour, or maybe 1-1.5 days a week)
• Able to work from home, as an independent contractor (FOP)
