ROLE DESCRIPTION
AGG is adding a Salesforce Consultant to our team, which requires a seasoned Salesforce professional to design, implement, and optimize Salesforce systems, drive automation, manage integrations, and support platform governance while collaborating with stakeholders to improve business processes. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in Salesforce administration, development, and CRM implementations, holds multiple Salesforce certifications, and demonstrates strong technical, analytical, and communication skills in a global delivery environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, operate, and integrate Salesforce systems to enable efficiencies in key areas of the business
- Provide consulting and coaching on best practices in Salesforce administration and implementation to enhance user experience
- Work on Salesforce automation to streamline processes
- Manage multiple stakeholders' engagements and collaborate with team members to understand projects, facilitate business process analysis sessions, and develop technology solutions
- Identify project issues and risks, presenting alternatives to alleviate or resolve them
- Support the health and governance of AGG's Salesforce instance
- Oversee and assist in developing Salesforce-related data analysis, including reports and dashboards
- Develop and deploy standard data management practices
- Handle administrative functions, including user management, workflow, Process Builder, and Flow
- Maintain strong relationships with Marketing and Sales teams and leaders to improve each team's business efficiency
- Develop and implement business-related processes for all supported teams
- Support regular Salesforce audits, including preparing for release dates and upgrades
- Manage integrations between Salesforce and other technologies
- Respond to users' requests (helpdesk and others) regarding Salesforce, sales processes, and related technologies in a timely and efficient manner
- Other duties as assigned by Leadership
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Certifications: Minimum of 5 current Salesforce certifications, including SCA and Platform Developer I
- Minimum of 5 years of successful Salesforce administration, development, and experience with technical implementations (B2B preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience implementing CRM solutions, with extensive experience on the Salesforce Force.com platform, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud
- Minimum of 4 years of Salesforce development and implementation experience, with a strong command of Apex, Visualforce, controllers, triggers, batch processes, APIs, and web services
- 3+ years of experience translating functional requirements and business rules into technology solutions, developing technical strategies, and creating solutions that meet customer requirements
- Advanced experience with Salesforce.com configurations
- Java experience is a plus
- Familiarity with Salesforce's latest product launches
- Background in CRM process design and implementation
- Experience with enterprise integration tools and ETL (extract, transform, load) processes
- Experience with Force.com integration technologies (Web Services, 3rd-party tools like Boomi) to integrate with on-premise systems such as Siebel, OMS, and Java-based systems
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Data Loader, Eclipse, SoapUI, APEX Explorer, Ant scripts, and AJAX Toolkit
- Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Analytics Studio or Tableau) preferred but not required
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple simultaneous requests, and influence laterally or upwards
- Well-versed in the configuration and customization of objects
- Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Experience and interest in working in a global delivery environment
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal, technical and nontechnical
- Ability to build relationships that foster collaboration and support the adoption of initiatives
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution required; three years of progressive experience instead of formal education will also be considered
